Skating Sponsorship
Once again this winter, we would like to partner with the Markdale Recreation Committee to sponsor Public Skating at the Markdale Arena. Rates to rent the ice have increased this year, but we would ideally like to sponsor ONE public skate each month. We have had some donations to get us started, and are asking others if you can help again this year to get Annesley’s name into the community and to provide this enjoyable activity to the youth and families in the area.
Knit Wits
The Knit Wits meet the 2nd and 4th Monday afternoons each month from 1:30 to 3:30 in the church parlour. Most of our knitting is done from yarn donated to the church and we thank you for that. All are invited to join us for a lovely afternoon of knitting and socialization.

The Great Emergence by Phyllis Tickle.

She compares the Great Emergence to other “Greats” in the history of Christianity, including the Great Transformation (when God walked among us), Anyone who is interested in the future of the church in Canada, no matter what their personal affiliation, will find this book a fascinating exploration.
